Extreme Parking Master
🚘 Extreme Parking Master 🥇
Extreme Parking Master is a challenging simulation game that tests the player's driving precision and spatial awareness. Using a Top-Down View, the core mechanics revolve around a realistic car physics model, including complex calculations for steering, friction, and collision.
🎮 Gameplay and Control Guide
🎯 Core Objective
- Under the constraint of limited health, you must park your sports car completely inside the target area marked by a green dashed box.
- The vehicle must be completely stationary and its front end must be perfectly aligned with the direction indicated by the small arrow inside the green zone to pass the level.
- Complete a series of increasingly difficult parking challenges through complex obstacles and narrow passages.
💻 Desktop Controls
| Action | Key | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Gas | $\uparrow$ / ArrowUp |
Increase forward speed. |
| Reverse | $\downarrow$ / ArrowDown |
Increase reverse speed, switching the gear to R (Reverse). |
| Steer Left | $\leftarrow$ / ArrowLeft |
Turn the steering wheel left. |
| Steer Right | $\rightarrow$ / ArrowRight |
Turn the steering wheel right. |
| Brake | Space |
Rapidly decrease speed. Brake lights illuminate when applied. |
Tip: The Gear Indicator will display your current gear: D (Drive), R (Reverse), or P (Park / Stationary).
🔥 Game Mechanics Explained
💔 Health (Hull Integrity)
- Display: Located in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Damage Mechanism: Each time any part of your vehicle collides with an obstacle or wall, your HEALTH decreases. The car will bounce and lose speed.
- Game Over: When HEALTH drops to 0%, the game ends, and you must restart the current level.
✨ Physics Simulation and Steering
- Realistic Steering: Steering input only takes effect when the vehicle is moving (forward or reverse). You cannot steer a stationary car.
- Turning Radius: The vehicle has a long wheelbase, requiring a large turning radius. Players must precisely alternate between D and R gears to adjust angles, especially for challenging maneuvers like reverse parking and parallel parking.
💡 Win Condition
To complete a level, you must satisfy all the following criteria:
- Location Alignment: The vehicle's center must be within the target area (green dashed box).
- Angle Alignment: The vehicle's orientation (front) must align with the small arrow inside the green zone (allowance for a small angular error, approximately $11.5^{\circ}$).
- Zero Velocity: The vehicle must be completely stopped ($\text{velocity} < 0.1$).
🗺️ Sample Challenges
The game includes multiple levels of increasing difficulty, ranging from basic to complex scenarios:
| Level Example | Challenge Type | Core Skill Tested |
|---|---|---|
| Level 2 | Parallel Parking | Precision control of reverse speed and timing the steering input. |
| Level 3 | Reverse Bay Parking | Complex $\text{L}$-shaped route planning, requiring multiple $\text{D} \to \text{R}$ gear switches. |
| Level 10 | "Box Dilemma" | Executing a 180-degree turn in an extremely tight, confined space, testing the minimum turning radius and three-point turn technique. |
