What is Agar.io?
Agar.io is a cell-eating arena in which your size determines what you can swallow. Small cells collect scattered pellets while larger players compete for position and enough mass to absorb one another.
Splitting trades safety for reach
Space splits a sufficiently large cell and launches part of it toward the pointer. The pieces are smaller and need time before merging again. Spiky viruses add another hazard: large cells can burst into pieces on contact. W ejects mass, so it also reduces what you keep.
How to play Agar.io
- Choose a mode and steer with the mouse toward nearby pellets.
- Stay away from cells that are clearly larger, leaving more than a narrow escape gap.
- Split toward a smaller target only when the launched piece will still be large enough to eat it.
- After splitting, gather your pieces and avoid larger opponents while waiting to recombine.

One large cell → two smaller cells. A target you could eat before splitting may be too large for either new piece; compare sizes again before committing.

- Do not split toward food sitting beside a much larger player.
