What is Bonk.io?
Bonk.io is a multiplayer physics game about keeping your ball in the arena while pushing others out. Community maps change the platforms and hazards, so reading the level is part of every round.
Heavy mode trades agility for force
Holding X makes the ball heavier. That helps it resist pushes and deliver stronger collisions, but reduces maneuverability. In the standard knockout format, the last survivor wins; team and custom settings can change how a room plays.
How to play Bonk.io
- Choose quick play or join a custom room, then inspect the arena’s platforms and exits.
- Use the arrow keys to move and position your ball away from an unprotected edge.
- Hold X just before an important collision to resist a push or drive through the opponent.
- Release X when you need to maneuver, and return to stable ground before starting another attack.

The collision has a before and after
Approach with room → become heavy at contact → release to recover. Staying heavy through the entire move can carry you into the same hole you aimed your rival toward.
Tips for your next round
- Let an overcommitted opponent pass you instead of meeting every charge.
- Learn the current map’s safe platforms before trying a risky knockout.
