What is Brutal.io?
Brutal.io turns movement into a weapon. Your small vehicle pulls a heavy flail around the arena, so the path you drive shapes the attack that follows. Collecting energy makes the flail more imposing, but size alone does not determine the outcome. A well-timed swing can threaten an opponent that seems comfortably out of reach.
Work with momentum
The vehicle and flail do not travel as one rigid object. Curving your movement builds a swing, and releasing the flail sends that motion outward. This creates opportunities to attack around another player rather than driving directly toward them. It also means that a careless turn can leave your own vehicle exposed.
How to play Brutal.io
- Enter a name and join the arena.
- Move the mouse to guide your vehicle and gather energy.
- Curve around open space to build a controlled flail swing.
- Click to release the flail, then use the game’s recall control to bring it back.
Before your next round
Practice releasing from a predictable arc before attempting crowded fights. Watch your vehicle as carefully as your weapon, and avoid chasing loose energy when it puts you between several opponents.
