What is Smash Karts?
Smash Karts is a 3D kart-combat game played in compact multiplayer arenas. Driving lines matter because they take you to weapons and away from danger, while the match rewards combat rather than ordinary circuit racing.
The next box changes your attack
Collecting a mystery box gives you a weapon or power-up. Different pickups need different timing and distance, so inspect the item before firing. In standard timed battles, getting knocked out sends you back into the action instead of ending the whole session.
How to play Smash Karts
- Join an arena and use WASD or the arrow keys to drive and steer.
- Pass through a mystery box to pick up a weapon, then identify what you received.
- Press Space to use the item when a target or escape opportunity is in reach.
- Keep moving toward another safe route or pickup, watching the match timer and score as the round continues.

Aim your driving line as well as the weapon
Picture a rival turning around a corner: driving after them in a straight line may expose you to their attack. A wider route can set up your own shot and leave an exit.
Tips for your next round
- Learn an arena’s box locations so you do not drive unarmed for long.
- Avoid stopping in the middle of a fight to decide what a pickup does.
