What is Stabfish.io?
Stabfish.io is an underwater arcade arena built around the weapon on the front of your fish. Instead of swallowing anything smaller, you win encounters by putting your spear into an opponent while keeping your own body away from theirs.
The spear makes the angle matter
Defeated opponents remain on your weapon as trophies, and successful takedowns extend its reach. Food supports growth and the boost resource. A longer spear gives more room to threaten a target, but does not protect your sides or rear. The arena can include bots; do not assume every fish is a live player.
How to play Stabfish.io
- Choose a fish and start a run, then move the mouse to guide it through nearby food.
- Watch opposing spear directions and circle toward an exposed side rather than charging straight in.
- Hold left click for a short boost when your spear has a clear line into the target.
- After a takedown, turn into open water, collect food and adjust to the longer weapon before attacking again.

Picture the flank, not a size comparison
Your spear → rival’s exposed side is a useful angle. Your body → rival’s spear is dangerous even if your fish is larger. Crossing head-on gives you less margin to correct the approach.
Tips for your next round
- Save some boost for getting out after a strike.
- Turn before the space becomes crowded; a line of trophies does not shield your fish.
