🧩 2048 Ultimate Lab
2048 Ultimate Lab is a highly customizable and enhanced version of the classic 2048 tile-merging puzzle game. Challenge yourself with multiple modes, various board sizes, and unique visual themes!
🚀 Key Features
- Variable Board Size: Play on grid sizes ranging from a 2x2 challenge up to an immense 8x8 board.
- Multiple Game Modes: Beyond the Normal (2048) experience, explore unique merging mechanics:
- Always 2: Tiles only spawn as the number 2.
- Fibonacci: Tiles only merge if they are adjacent numbers in the Fibonacci sequence (e.g., 1+2=3, 2+3=5, 3+5=8).
- Threes! (1+2): Merging 1s and 2s creates 3s. Identical tiles (3 and up) merge as usual (3+3=6).
- Merge Any (Sum): Any two adjacent tiles can merge, and the result is their sum.
- Negative (+/-): Introduces negative tiles and explores merging based on absolute values.
- Customizable Skins: Change the game's aesthetic with different themes:
- Default
- æ»ç¥žæ°¸ç”Ÿ (Death) (Dark, futuristic theme)
- 使徒 (EVA) (Neon green and purple)
- 兵库北 (Meme) (Uses emoji faces for lower tiles)
- Chemistry (Uses atomic symbols on tiles, e.g., H, He, Li)
🤖 Auto-Play Strategies
The "Lab" component of the game allows you to test out automatic play algorithms:
| Strategy | Description |
|---|---|
| Corner | Tries to keep the highest tile in one corner, primarily pushing Up and Right/Left. |
| Swing | Alternates between two opposing directions (e.g., Right and Left). |
| Swirl | Cycles through all four directions in sequence (Up, Right, Down, Left). |
| Rand | Moves in completely random directions. |
| Stop | Halts any active auto-play process. |
🎮 How to Play
Merge tiles with the same number by moving them across the grid. When two identical tiles collide, they merge into a single tile with the value of their sum.
Goal: Reach the highest possible tile value (or the mode-specific goal) before the grid fills up and no more moves are possible.
Controls
- Keyboard: Use WASD or the Arrow Keys (Up, Right, Down, Left) to move the tiles.
- Touch/Swipe: Swipe on the game board in the direction you want to move.
- Button: Use the Restart button to start a new game.
