What is Skribbl.io?
Skribbl.io is a multiplayer drawing and word-guessing game. Players take turns drawing a chosen word while the rest type guesses, with the final score deciding the winner after the room’s rounds.
A drawing should show the word, not spell it
When drawing, communicate with shapes and details rather than writing the answer. Guessers use the sketch and any revealed letter hints. Private-room settings can change timing, rounds and word choices, making a familiar group’s session different from a public room.
How to play Skribbl.io
- Choose a nickname and language, then join a public game or create a private room for friends.
- When another player draws, type a likely answer into the guessing field and watch the hints.
- On your turn, choose a word and sketch its recognizable outline before adding smaller details.
- Continue through the room’s rounds and use the scores to see which guesses or drawings worked well.

Start with a curved canopy and its handle, then add rain if needed. Those shapes communicate the object more clearly than filling the canvas with decoration.
