What is Splix.io?
Splix.io is a grid-based territory arena. Your marker keeps moving, and right-angle turns let you outline new sections of the board. Reconnecting that outline to your own land fills it with your color.
Your trail is vulnerable outside home
While you are outside owned territory, the line behind you can be hit by another player. You can attack exposed rival trails in the same way. A large outline creates more potential territory but also a longer interval in which your route can be cut.
How to play Splix.io
- Join the board and use WASD or the arrow keys to steer in cardinal directions.
- Leave your territory briefly and make a small rectangular route through nearby unclaimed blocks.
- Turn back into your own land to complete the capture.
- Watch the nearest rival before choosing your next edge; attack only when your own return route is short.

Think in rectangles, not curves
Home → right → down → left → reconnect. Each extra row makes the capture larger but extends the time your outline stays exposed.
Tips for your next round
- Expand along a side with fewer nearby opponents.
- Do not chase a distant trail if returning would force you across your own unfinished path.
