What is Wormate.io?
Wormate.io turns the snake arena into a feast of sweets. Cakes, biscuits and candy grow your worm, while temporary potions change movement, food collection or growth.
Potions change the next few seconds
Your head must avoid other worms’ bodies. Defeated worms leave sweets to collect, so dangerous encounters can produce much faster growth than quiet foraging. Potions expire: a speed or handling bonus changes what you can safely attempt, rather than making you permanently stronger.
How to play Wormate.io
- Choose a nickname and arena, then steer toward loose candy with your mouse.
- Follow a clear food route until you have room and length to maneuver.
- Pick up nearby potions and use their temporary effect while it lasts.
- Hold the mouse button to accelerate past an opening, then turn across a rival only if your head can escape.

A candy trail is also a trap
Crash → pile of sweets → several worms converge. Approach the outside edge of the pile rather than aiming your head through the crowd.
Tips for your next round
- Watch where your head will be after the turn, not just where the food is.
- Use a collection potion to gather from safer positions instead of forcing close passes.
